Travel on the Reg is a humor and travel site with aims to show that “real” travel is just as important as aspirational travel more often portrayed in the blogging world.
Created by Agnes Groonwald in October 2019, the site continues to grow, despite several years of disruption in the travel industry.
Alright, that’s enough of the third-person. I hate that it’s so popular on pages like this.
I came to the world of travel blogging with a background in both journalism and education. I have a passion for entertaining visitors with my writing, in addition to providing them with tips and tricks for visiting my favorite destinations and traveling regularly, but well.
My unique background positions me perfectly as not only a fresh outlook on travel but as a fresh voice for those looking for strong writing in their travel planning.

I’m not a luxury traveler. I’m budget-savvy without couch-surfing or hosteling, and mindful of how long most people vacation for. That’s what makes my reach so great.
