When it was time for us to escape the winter chill of the Midwest, even if temporarily, we looked to the West. It was California, specifically, my favorite state in the country.
The West overall is by far the most scenic region in the country. I’ll even take California out of the equation. Visit the Oregon coast, the wildlife-heavy vistas of Yellowstone, and the mountain towns of Colorado, and try to argue it.
The West is spectacular, and if you want to take a closer look, you’re in the right place.
