The Southeast

The Southeast is one of the most diverse regions in the country by any definition. A big reason for that is that you’ll find a lot of disagreement in the United States about what the Southeast even is.

The usual definition uses the Mason–Dixon line to divide the Northeast from the Southeast. That means this region includes true Deep South states like Alabama and Mississippi but also states like Maryland and Delaware.

There’s that diversity I was talking about.

We’ve spent quite a bit of time wintering in the southern states. While I’ll always be more of a visitor here vs. a long-term resident, I do love those visits, the delicious food scene, and the warm winter temperatures.

Explore all of the adventures we’ve had in this intriguing region.
